Top Wedding Trends for 2024
It's the start of the new year and there's lots of couples beginning to start their wedding planning journey! It has been a busy start to the year for me, with lots of couples enquiring about 2024, 2025 and 2026 weddings - YES! 2026 weddings! I know it's pretty insane how advanced wedding planning can be, which is why my number one tip for couples is that they book their preferred wedding suppliers ASAP.

STATEMENT VEILS
Veils are one of my absolute favourite accessories when it comes to wedding fashion. As a photographer, they are so wonderful to work with and can create beautiful dimension and creativity in photos. A veil which is bespoke is also something which I think is timeless and it's a beautiful keepsake for you after the wedding, a piece that can be handed down to your loved ones in years to come.

CHAMPAGNE TOWERS
One of my favourite trends to date! The Champagne tower is classy, fun, romantic and is just a great way to start the evening of with a bang!
A lot of couples are now scrapping the idea of the 'traditional' cake cutting and are simply asking the venue to slice the cake for everyone's desert. That way, when everyone's finished, the party can get started, the drinks are flowing and you and your Bride/groom can enjoy the champagne tower experience! Plus, it makes for great photos!
CANDID DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY
Of course it's a trend for 2024! Why wouldn't it be? Documentary photography is my background, and I absolutely love to capture raw, authentic, timeless moments but with a creative touch. More and more couples are now wanting that 'fly on the wall' approach to their wedding photography, they want more natural movement and romantic moments to be captured.

AUDIO GUEST BOOKS
If you've never experienced an audio guest book, this is something that you 100% need to look into for your wedding. I absolutely love this trend. I think it's a fantastic way to remember those who celebrated the day with you, hearing their voice and how utterly happy they are for you is just such a wonderful thing to experience and you'll keep it for life.
SUSTAINABLE WEDDINGS
Sustainable weddings is a big topic in the wedding industry and I'm all here for it!
From sustainable wedding venues, to stationary, there is so much you can do to make your wedding more environmentally friendly. If you're in the process of planning your wedding, I would totally recommend looking into how you can make your wedding more environmentally friendly.
BESPOKE WEDDING DRESSES
If you've shopped till you dropped and not found a dress you love, or if you feel like you're looking for something which is that extra bit special then a bespoke wedding dress might be the solution for you.
